About Jerry Zabin

Jerry M. Zabin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years direct clinical experience. Mr. Zabin received his Masters Degree in Social Work from Loyola University in 1980, and has been in out-patient practice and consulting since 1984. He has earned a reputation for providing individualized, responsive and growth-oriented clinical services. Mr. Zabin specializes in working with aggressive adolescents as well as adult male perpetrators of domestic violence. Mr. Zabin is a tenured faculty at Glenbrook South High School, where he works with special needs adolescents.
In addition to his school position and his psychotherapy practice, Mr. Zabin is a health educator and motivational speaker, having provided over 100 corporate wellness-oriented seminars and in-depth clinician-focused seminars for organizations including, The Adler School, Evanston High School, Glenbrook South High School, McDonald's Corporation, IBM, Workplace Solutions, Allstate, A.C. Nielsen, First Chicago Bank Corp., Trustmark, Rotary International, Searle Labs, Solo Cup, Community Counseling Centers of Chicago, Turning Point Behavioral Health, Oakton Community College and numerous other organizations throughout the Metropolitan Chicago area. Mr. Zabin has appeared on Fox television and has been interviewed on radio station WBEZ, addressing treatment considerations in working with aggressive clients. In his seminars, Mr. Zabin combines practical intervention strategies with insightful and often humorous anecdotes.
